LH35 - La LH du gala

Poème Hebdomadaire n°43 - Wuthering wolf

Wuthering wolf

A mansion, a storm most serious.
A father brings back a small boy
No violin, the son furious.
But the daughter, she is not coy.
While the time flies and the skies roar,
For this young wolf, barely a mutt,
Young Catherine beyond the door.
Shows him her world, he shan't stay shut.
One day they play until sunset
The other they endlessly cry
They bicker not because they hate
But because their heart can't deny.
While the time flies and the skies roar
For this teenage wolf, struck by lust,
Confused in his mind, "What a bore.".
"Wherever I am, why she must?".
And yet, when he overhears her
Mention she shouldn't love him.
Despair became endless, for sure
Hating her, he left on a whim.
While the time flies and the skies roar
For this old wolf, wrath is a must,
He came back, his heart just as sore
Married her sister, just to burst.
Brought his son, made him marry Cathy
Cause alas, past is her last breath.
He united their family
To finally join her in death.
